Job Summary

We are seeking to a forward thinking, Policy Planner, looking for a career progression as part of our growing  policy, infrastructure and transport planning.  This is an exciting progression opportunity suitable for a graduate, junior planner with over two years experience to join one of London’s most dynamic and ambitious regeneration teams.

Our local plan sets out a 30 year vision for 50,00 new homes and 20,000 new jobs – we have masterplans, Local Development Orders, local policy documents coming forward and are in the process of unlocking swathes of industrial land to deliver new sustainable mixed use neighbourhoods.  We want to tunnel the A13, support new economic sectors like film studios and food markets, enable a Freeport at Dagenham Dock.

We need an ambitious policy focused planner who can work across the team on the full range of planning activities including the local plan, SPDs, assisting with policy development and all aspects of infrastructure funding and monitoring.   You will also need a key interest in sustainability and digital planning as we make our plans more user focused and accessible.

Job Salary

up to £42,000
